Since 1949, The Berlin Lions Club has operated the Berlin Fair and it has been the main event in town ever since. The fair takes place the weekend of the first Sunday in October of every year and marks the end of Connecticut’s Agricultural Fair Season. Each year brings new and exciting things to the Berlin Fair. If you have never visited, we invite you to stop by and see one of Connecticut’s largest Agricultural Fairs.
The Berlin Lions are host the annual Junior and Senior Visually Impaired Persons (VIP) Fishing Tournaments at Sage Park in Berlin. There is no charge to register and attend either of the tournaments. A light breakfast, fishing poles, bait, lunch, and awards are provided. We promote a “catch and release” policy.
Berlin Lions Charities and Berlin Spirits present the Annual Wine and Beer Tasting. This event has become one of the largest and most attended events of its kind in the state. Showcasing over 60 wines from local and well known vineyards along with approximately 50 beers from select seasonal’s to specialty micro brews plus selected spirits for your sampling pleasure.
